Specialising in the AI & Machine Learning track, with a projected graduation in May 2027. Class Chairperson for Year 2 Semester 2, where I carried the class's feedback into the Director's Tea sessions & organised the class barbecue. Alongside coursework I hold several roles in & around the school:
Net score of 13. Head of Training ICs for the Robotics CCA from 2022 to 2023, where I trained juniors in Arduino C & Python & planned CCA events & challenges for them. Class Chairperson of 4G in 2023. Also picked up the Edusave Good Progress Award in 2022 & the Young Engineer Award in 2021.
Building self-hosted AI agent projects to support SQL VIEW's internal systems, running on dedicated internal infrastructure.
Worked the Tefal warehouse sale across the three day Expo event, promoting & selling their range of frying pans, handling customer questions & product demonstrations on the floor.
A three day sale at Ang Mo Kio Hub, with the same mix of demonstrations, product questions & closing sales on the floor.
These come from coursework, lab work, my internship & my own projects rather than certificates alone. Each one is something I have actually sat down & done.
Building self-hosted AI agents at SQL VIEW: chat interfaces over internal workflows & real-time company queries, an AI-maintained knowledge base over internal documents, & the model tuning, workload optimisation & output testing that keeps the whole thing dependable. That covers LLMOps, prompt engineering, agentic workflows, chatbot development & knowledge engineering, with React & Next.js on the interface side.
Built a log-based behavioural anomaly detection model on the HDFS dataset, tuning it with decision tree classifiers & judging it on precision, recall & F1-score. Comfortable extracting & cleaning data with SQL, exploring it with Python's visualisation libraries, & turning the result into an executive dashboard in Tableau or Power BI.
Performed penetration tests against web applications & network services, identifying vulnerabilities & writing them up as structured reports with realistic remediation recommendations rather than a raw scanner dump.
Conducted mock investigations in class & on my own hardware, covering evidence acquisition, file system analysis, memory analysis, deleted file recovery & forensic reporting, all while following proper evidence handling procedure so the findings would survive scrutiny.
Ran static, dynamic & behavioural analysis on samples to pull out indicators of compromise & describe what the code actually does when it runs, rather than what its filename claims it does.
Configured & secured enterprise networks using Palo Alto firewalls, VPNs & IDS/IPS technologies, then analysed the resulting traffic for threats. Includes writing & testing the security policy rather than only reading it.
Carried out cybersecurity risk assessments, evaluated the effectiveness of security controls & applied governance frameworks including ISO 27002, COBIT & PCI DSS in lab environments.
Developed applications & automation scripts in Python, C#, C++, Go, SQL, HTML, CSS & JavaScript for security, forensics & academic software projects. I would rather write the tool than do the task twice by hand.
Working knowledge of Windows & Linux environments: system administration, command line operations, user management & security configuration on both.

Passed the eJPT examination, which is a practical, hands-on assessment rather than a multiple choice paper.
Reached the finalist stage of the Lag n' Crash 6 capture the flag competition.
Finished inside the top ten of the Hack n' Flag capture the flag competition.
Placed as second runner up in the Cyber Sports Day CTF run as part of the Sentinel Programme.
Worked with an international team to propose a solution to a global security problem, then defended it in a debate against participants from a range of countries.
First place in the individual category at Temasek Polytechnic's YCEP capture the flag competition.
First place at the A-YCEP capture the flag competition run by the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore.
A lot of what I have learned about working with people came from these rather than from a lab.
Officially an Event Coordinator for the Surf-Safe programme, helping to formulate teaching materials & assisting the Curriculum & Directory Head with ad hoc work such as arranging meetings with schools & presenting Surf-Safe to students directly.
Attend events hosted by the European Union, including the opening & closing of the EU Film Festival for networking, & dialogues such as the session with Enrico Letta, former Italian Prime Minister, on the EU single market.
Trained for a day on the different types of visual impairment before being assigned a visually impaired visitor to guide around the gardens the following day.
Guided senior citizens to the ballroom & assisted those who needed help getting there, including wheelchair users & guests who needed support on the stairs. Also handled crowd control at dismissal, keeping more than two hundred people moving onto the right buses.
Help organise & come up with ideas for bonding nights such as CAConnect to build cohesion in the club, & suggest topics for debates & other activities alongside the rest of the subcommittee.
Trained fellow EXCO members so they could teach our juniors, ran several CCA classes myself, & gave advice & guidance on any questions they brought. Still keep in touch with some of them when they run into IT or tech problems.
